XJ Engineering has now been in business for over 10 years, specialising in the repair and servicing of Jaguar and Daimler cars. For the last six years it has been located in the current premises at the Bentley Business Park.

The business, founded in 1988 by the current owner and resident proprietor, was originally located in premises at Long Sutton, a nearby village. XJ Engineering moved to its current premises in the Bentley Business Park in 1992.

Stewart Hunt, the founder and proprietor of XJ Engineering, is a well known Jaguar and Daimler specialist and also an enthusiast. He is extremely well qualified for a business with this type of specialisation having over 25 years experience in the car repair and servicing field, most of which has been spent in the company of Jaguars and Daimlers.

Prior to forming XJ Engineering Stewart Hunt developed an impeccable pedigree as a Jaguar/Daimler expert and enthusiast gained over a period of 15 years.

A short period at Vicks in Farnborough was followed by almost five years with another prestigious Jaguar/Daimler specialist- Stratstones in Staines.

There then followed an assignment which has proved invaluable as a stepping stone to achieving his own business. This involved undertaking responsibility for "looking after" and managing a valuable private collection for a period of about two years. It was this experience which provided the motivation to "go-it-alone" and which provided the final polish to his experience.

The final result of these efforts has ensured that XJ Engineering has become a well respected and established business. Customers continue to be drawn from an ever wider geographic area as the reputation of the business spreads and is broadcast by word of mouth from satisfied customers.
